Received the set with one bottle of aromatherapy leaking in the package. Set the unit up and plugged it in. The heat is so low the oil doesn't even evaporate. There's a warning that the unit becomes hot, but not in my case. Will toss it out.

This is the perfect way to diffuse essential oils and create a peaceful & serene environment anywhere in your home!- the flameless candle has an incredible flickering effect that's so realistic my husband keeps trying to blow it out ;-) - the essential oil pan is removable for easy cleaning and changing scents - the oil reservoir is heated to diffuse the oil - the river rocks are wonderful visual & tactile addition, and the supply provided is very abundant - a timer automatically shuts it off after 6 hours - I turn it on as I go bed at night, and if it's still flickering when I awake, I know I haven't yet had enought sleep! :-)LOVE it! This is one of those rare designs that makes me say, "They've thought of EVERYTHING!" I ordered one to start with, and have since ordered two more - all for myself and different locations throughout my house.

Leaves something to be desired

I am a big homedics fan and am not accustomed to not being disappointed. I can't say that this happened with the purchase of this aroma therapeutic "faux" candle. I would not recommend that you purchase this if you are accustomed to a pungent smell or like your aromas to have a kick. I thought that it might be the sample oils that came with it. After using the candle a few times; I just stopped. I did receive a few compliments from friends and co-workers about it -they thought it was a nice "Curio"

Big Hit as a Gift

I bought this as a gift and accidently ordered 4? Don't ask, this is a me thing. I kept them all, and one for myself. I diffuse organic oil from my health food store or Whole Foods, etc. and I LOVE it. I love the flameless feature as I just have a thing about fire. It could be a 200 year old wood house. The key is to not use too much oil. It's easier to add a little than to overpower yourself. As gifts, all of my recipients were thrilled! I was in a hurry and just ordered the first oil set that came up in the search. Fortunately, it was great. The Tea Tree was nice and subtle enough. Lavender was clean and smelled very pure. Peppermint was crisp and refreshing. Eucalyptus was not too medicinal and was just right. Orange smelt like I had just peeled an orange in front of me. Happy with the purchase. Would make a good gift too. Now I know why it came up top of the list...thanks!

I'm enjoying my set of oils. However, I am a little disappointed because the myrrh is thick and sticky and smells like burn tires. Myrrh is a scent I use a lot, but not being able to use this one out of 32 is not bad, I guess. It is more expensive to buy the individual oils, so this is a good value.

I would highly recommend this set. Not only is it a great deal....the oils are super high quality. I bought the The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy by Valerie Wormwood with it. Can make so many of the recipes in there. Worth every penny! Also, comes in a nice box that I now use to store them in.

i purchased two. one for my car and one for my truck and when i plugged them in nothing happend, i was really excited about scenting my car with natural oils but the pine tree from the car wash works better. i left them in the outlet for at least 30 min. the time it takes me to get to town but nothing. i'll stick to smelling myself and leave the gadgets alone.

This aromatherapy car diffuser is very simple to use. You put a few drops of any essential oil on a small pad that you insert into the front of the diffuser, plug it into your car lighter and that's it. The fragrance is noticeable within a minute or two depending on how many oil drops you use. Usually between three and five drops is enough for most cars. I have tried peppermint oil and it makes the air feel cool to breathe and does help keep you alert. Any pure oil will work, but mint or citrus oils (like grapefruit or sweet orange) have worked best for me in my car. The pads seem to last a long time and it's best to use one pad for each different fragrance you use. The diffuser comes with five pads. Additional refill pads can be purchased seperately (very inexpensive). I prefer this diffuser to typical car air freshners that have a strong artificial or overly perfumy smell. 5 stars!

I like that this diffuser makes my car smell great in less than a minute. It diffuses fragrance quickly and would only be recommeded for people who like the smell of essential oils. You can purchase the essential oil of your choosing to go with your diffuser. I happen to like smell of any citrus essential oil on this diffuser in my own car.

Wonderful

This a well-designed unit that is easy to use. The construction quality is pretty good and it seems from the onset that it will last a long time if taken care of, unlike some other similar products I've purchased. The directions say to put one drop of the essential oil on the pad when using the unit. I've found that two drops is optimal but that is just preference. This unit comes with one standard-size bottle of Aura Cacia brand Lavender Essence oil, which is an oil used for calming (the description doesn't tell you which scent you're getting). It also comes with a handy guide to oils and their uses if you don't already know. There are two settings, high and low on the unit. It's not overly noisy. My husband has a small fan he likes to have run while he is sleeping but it annoys me greatly and after he falls asleep I unplug it. However, this unit isn't noisy enough to bother me despite my annoyance from the small fan's noise. What I also like about this unit is that there are no lights on it, unlike other units; I like complete darkness when I sleep. You really don't have to buy a spare or replacement filter for the unit unless yours gets damaged or lost since after each use, all of the oil is atomized and the pad is clean for another scent.

Not too strong, not too weak

We ordered on a Friday night, and were surprised when they shipped on Saturday. Timely arrival. Package arrived well packed and the gift box is very attractive.Now, onto the oils. The oils have a refreshing scent, not too strong, but strong enough. We also purchased the wall oulet diffuser, and it makes the room smell magical. We will be using this to scent our laundry soap, and I can't wait to see how this turns out. Nothing like making your own "designer" scents.

I like this set so much. I bought it after a friend told me about it. The patchouli in the Aphrodisiac blend is distinctive but not overpowering. The Relaxation is perfect for unwinding those frazzled nerves after a crazy day. The aroma is mainly lavender, but the other oils in it keep it from smelling all flowery. I mix the Renew blend with soap, vinager and water to clean my floors. It leaves a fresh clean scent in the house and I feel I have pushed away viruses. I think the Stress is my favorite, but cant really pick...I like them all.

They came quickly in the mail (even shipped on a weekend) and arrived intact. They all smell very nice, seems to be good quality oil. My husband had some minor allergy flair up and used the Breathe oil in the diffuser - he says it helped. I don't know how effective they are other than that but they do smell nice. With shipping it came out to a little over $4 a bottle which is a pretty good value; certainly cheaper than the closet place to me that sells these types of things.

These oils were so nice. I really loved the Relaxation, Meditation and the Stress Relief. They were all good, but those were the best of the set. I like the earthy tones more, so I liked these three. The Renew seemed would be good for people who like minty aromas. I have used this diffuser in a classroom for a year with no problems. I like that it is silent and when I use high quality oils according to directions it leaves the classroom smelling great.

Dont buy its a waste of your oils, time and money.

I had the diffuser for just a couple weeks and the diffuser burned the oils instead of slowly dispersing them. The thing wasnt even powerfull enough to work in one bedroom and broke after falling off of my 1 foot night stand onto my rug!!! Spend just a little more money on a better one or you'll regret it and end up having to replace it within a month or two.

Terrible Smell, Induces Headache!

I bought this because the reviews said it smelled nice. Oh how wrong they were, I tried it out and it was so overpowering as far as smell. It does not smell good at all, and you wind up with a headache in 30 minutes. I had to open all the windows in the house and Febreze everything to try and get the odor out. I would not advise anyone to buy this.

Very relaxing

It has a very soothing, relaxing, and refreshing aroma. I apply a drop of this oil on a cotton ball and smear it on the vents of my table fan. This fills the whole room with its fragrance.

More of a hip, unisex aroma than granny smell. Perfect for unwinding those frazzled nerves after a crazy day. The aroma is mainly lavender, but the other oils keep it from smelling all flowery. My husband evens likes it. Works particularly well in linen sprays. Makes our sheets smell great!

I am a busy working mom and don't have a lot of spare time but want to remark on how great this company and their products are. They send my orders so quickly each time I have ordered from them, and that has been at least 5 times! All of the products are great qualities, the oils are pure!! They have a wonderful fragrance, I bought the heart stone oil warmer and love it, with the oils. Their candles are fantastic, although be careful as the tin does get quite hot, but we all know hot wax is hot, right? Anyway, they always have included a special little surprise gift with my order, a little sample which is so thoughtful and adds such a nice touch. I just can't say enough nice things about them. Thank you Plantlife for really showing a customer that you appreciate their business and I will be back to buy more!!!

I really liked how this set came. I dont always know where to store my EO's but this was super convenient. It holds them in there securely. The oils were really clean smelling too. Oh, the uses on the card in the box were a nice touch. So many uses for these oils.
