When I first smelled this in the botttle, I wasn't crazy about the fragrance. It claims to have green bergamot, melon fruit, and lavender scents, but once you put it on your skin, its a very subtle and soft scent, kind of smells like cucumber melon to me. I definitly noticed a huge diffrence in my tan lasting way longer and my skin is back to being so smooth and soft! (Once a day application didn't seem to do the trick, but putting it on twice a day makes the diffrence!)

As far as skin firming well I don't see much result but my skin is sooo soft when using this. The smell at first is a bit strong but not unpleasant..just wait until it has all soaked in then apply whatever body spray/perfume you plan on using. I don't use on my face, use a different nivea product for that. I am 35 years old, have used tanning beds(you would think I would have leathery skin...nope) and have the softest skin..all thanks to Nivea products!!

I can usually handle fairly strong smells, but this one was incredibly strong -- in a bad way! Usually the scent of most lotions will also dissipate after the lotion sinks in, but this one lasted for about eight hours, and interfered with my perfume.Since I only used it twice, I can't speak to its skin-tightening abilities. I really did like how light-feeling it was, and it also adds a nice glean to your skin. If you don't mind the smell, it seems like a nice lotion, but just be warned that it may be too strong! If you are at all sensitive to smells, I definitely recommend smelling this before you purchase it.I feel bad giving this a low review since I wasn't able to use it long enough to see if it really does firm the skin, but, in my mind, a product needs to excel in all areas to be a winner, and this one falls short because the smell is much too strong and noxious. I ended up buying Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion, Daily Shade Formula, SPF 16, from Amazon after returning the Nivea lotion, and have been very pleased with that one. Great Lotion even my boyfriend will use it! by K. Burns from on 2010-08-30 I am obsessed with having moisturized skin, but I hate greasy lotions. This is by far my favorite moisturizer. My boyfriend, who hates lotions of all types, finally used this on his sunburn, and even went out and bought his own bottle!I am allergic to many of the over the counter lotions. I can use both the scented and unscented version of this one, and it never makes my skin itch.Unfortunately, the cheap skates at Neutrogena in all their infinite wisdom have decided to stop making this product. The product they have replaced it with is pathetic in comparison. If you love this product as much as I do, go to their website and complain. Hard-to-find Neutrogena product by Rick Dutkiewicz from Allegan, Mi USA on 2010-07-09 I don't know if Neutrogena has stopped making this lotion, but I can hardly find it anywhere else. It's the only lotion my wife likes, because it is non-greasy and non-stinky. It rubs in well, and does the job of moisturizing without being sticky or greasy. And, like I said, it's doesn't have a sweet, musky, or chemical smell, like most lotions. The 3-pack is a great bargain.

It does smell nice but perhaps I am spoiled after using Yves Rocher's handcare line for cold weather.The Hempz is a mixture of cheap ingredients and my skin isnt dry, its normal. I have tested this against the Yves Rocher and Cetaphil and Hempz gave a flimsy greasy feeling to the skin.So I gave this two stars because it smells nice and its a good price. But you get what you pay for. I ended up throwing this out.

It smells just like 90% of the cheapest lotions you could buy.I thought that with the quality of the ingredients used that there would be a subtle pleasant smell. Nope. The smell is too strong and no matter how good the lotion is, we just can't tolerate having it on for very long. best lotion for eczema by T. S. Duff from Memphis, Tn on 2010-09-02 I agree with the other reviewers: this is the best there is. My four kids all had very severe eczema when they were young. At one point, the oldest was almost hospitalized because of constant infections, but we refused to allow it. The point is, they were BAD - every time we went out in public people stopped me to ask it they had chicken pox/poison ivy. They all began to get much better when they reached the age of about 6 to 8, and now they look pretty normal except for persistent cracks on their hands and feet. They range from age 19 to age 8 now, and their skin is still very dry. This lotion is the best - it doesn't irritate them, and is a nice lotiony texture, unlike the thick goopy Eucerin creme we used when they were younger. There are multiple bottles of this stuff all over our house, and in all our cars. You can only imagine how upset I was last summer when I discovered that Walmart, Target, and Walgreens were no longer carrying it. I checked Neutrogena's website and it appeared to be gone, replaced by the red box stuff which doesn't come fragrance-free, except in an $8 medium-size tube. The lotion doesn't feel as nice, either, but at least it doesn't make my kids break out in a rash. I'm so happy to see that this is available at Amazon, and is also now listed on the Neutrogena website again - I'm hoping that they have decided to keep making it (or make it again?) We also love the Neutrogena foot creme, and it disappeared from stores at about the same time as the body moisturizer. It is also available now at Amazon, and the Neutrogena wesite. It heals cracked heels in just a few days - my kids use it constantly, esp in the winter. It isn't fragrance-free, but it doesn't bother their skin. I like these products so much that I have given them to friends and relatives as Christmas gifts - I'm a very practical person.Update: I just called Neutrogena again re this product. The customer service rep seemed to know less about this product than I did, but he did tell me that it has been discontinued. He had no explaination for why it is back on their website again. Not very helpful. He tried to encourage me to buy their "body wrap moisturizer", which we have already tried and did not like. He did confirm that the "body wrap" (red box) stuff is NOT the same product, just repackaged, but is a different formula entirely. He didn't really need to tell me that, it's pretty obvious. Too bad, I guess they had too many customers. He did tell me that the foot creme is still made, so no need to stockpile there.

I first used this product after a recommendation from a hair stylist during the hair show in Las Vegas where I was vacationing and had gotten a really, really painful and horrible looking sunburn on my face. She suggested the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair & Body moisturizer to calm my skin and help it heal. She also told me exactly WHERE to find it at the Bellagio in Las Vegas I went in search of the product and applied it on the spot. It calmed my dry, burned face immediately and reduced the inflamation. The peeling stopped and it healed nicely by the end of the day my skin looked 1000x better! I also use it in my hair as does my husband as he suffers from dry scalp from time to time. We also use it as an after shave balm & leave in conditioner for the kids. All around for the price this product really give GREAT results. I also recommended it for my friend whose children have gotten lice a few times to use as a leave in conditioner since lice don't lke Tea Tree Oil products.. She hasn't had an outbreak since! In a couple of weeks, my thighs and behind looked tighter and smoother, despite the otherwise chubby appearance of my form. The texture is rich and thick and it smells diviiiiiine. I was scraping out the inside of the bottle as best I could 'cause now I can't even FIND it anymore. My only guess is that it's flying off the shelves before I can get some. Works great as a hand and foot cream, too, and everything stays nice and moisturized overnight. It seemed to perk up any part of my body on which I used it. Did I mention the scent? Yum. My husband was huffing me like airplane glue. (I think it's a little thick for the face, but next time I get a bottle, I'll try it.) I got mine I think at Wal-Dread, but for about the same price. I am not surprised that it seems like they jacked up the price in general, so get it here. Will your tush look like the chick on the bottle?
