Fish body oils are the good fats; they contain omega3 fatty acids which are beneficial to your body. Omega 3 is one of the essential fatty acids which your body needs to function optimally but cannot produce on its own; we get them through foods and supplements.

Regular consumption of fish body oils is beneficial to you but fish also contain toxic chemicals such as pesticides, mercury and other pollutants; this makes it dangerous to eat fish in large quantities. So, it is recommended that you rather get your daily need of omega 3 by supplementation.

This does not mean that all fish oil supplements are pure; there are many out there that still contain contaminants. However, to avoid ingesting these toxins, you need to buy fish body oils that are molecularly distilled; this ensures that the supplement is pure and safe enough for your consumption.

Also look for a supplement that contains at least 250mg of DHA per 1000mg per capsule of fish oil; the truth is that the more DHA contained in the supplement, the more effective it will be. It does not mean that EPA is not important, but your body can turn dha to epa if it is needed, but cannot turn epa to dha.

The fish body oils I take is a blend of oils from tuna and hoki; this unique combination increases the anti-inflammatory properties to two and half times more than the 'normal' fishoil.
