I began using this body wash when it first came out. I was desperate to find safe, effective and inexpensive products that would help soothe dry flaky skin. Within a week I knew I'd finally found the right body cleanser; my skin looked and felt smoother, softer and more moisturized than it ever had before. Fast forward to now: I still won't use anything else.I now use this product with a pair of exfoliating complexion gloves in the shower. IMO this regular routine makes the rich shea butter formula work even more effectively. My skin actually glows. No kidding. Thanks, Olay!

Very Moisturizing if you have dry skin

This body of mine has very dry skin and I was constantly battling that prickly itchy feeling even after putting on lotion. A friend suggested this to me as her daughter has the same problem. This is very creamy and very moisturing. You do not have to use a lot, in fact be careful if you do or your shower will become slippery as it leaves a slick coating on the tile floor of my shower. It smells clean and it does help with the itching.

Wouldn't use anything else. Shea butter makes this work and scent is very mild and does not compete with colognes or perfumes. Leaves my skin feeling great.

Outstanding body wash!

This is the best body wash I've come across for performance and price. Smells good, and keeps my skin soft and hydrated. Typically my skin gets dry and somewhat itchy in the winter, but since I started using this, I've had no problems. When it's almost gone, I leave the last bit in there and use it to wash my dogs. I just add some warm water and shake it up. They smell great for days.

I have eczema and have used everything from prescription steroid creams to Gold Bond Ultimate healing to take care of my problem area with no avail. My mom had a bottle of this so I decided to try it once what could it hurt. I have not had one issues with my skin all day. I'm going to go and buy my own and keep using it.

Oil (or shea butter) and water don't mix

I have extremely dry skin and am constantly looking for an effective moisturizing body wash. So, I was looking forward to trying out this Olay Ultra Moisture body wash. Apparently there is such a thing as too much Shea Butter, because this product not only left me greasy from head to toe, but also my bath tub. (I did not feel moist and soft, just greasy- think French fry.) After using this product in the shower, I then had to re-shower with soap to get enough of it off to dress. The next day I decided to take a bath and discovered that that single use had left my entire tub covered in a thick scum of body wash sludge. This layer of what I am assuming is Shea butter or mineral oil did not readily wipe off but did scrap off with my nails. It then took two washings with a scrub sponge to remove. Not only did this layer of body wash feel nasty to stand on or bathe in, it would have been dangerous for anyone unsteady on their feet to stand on (child or elderly person). I have been using Johnson's body wash for years (it contains mineral oil) and have never had this problem. In fact, I have never had this issue with any moisturizing body wash. Now maybe I got a bad bottle of body wash or perhaps Wal-Mart is cutting additional corners these days, but my new bottle of Olay Ultra Moisture body wash is now in the trash.

Luxurious body wash!

Olay's complete body wash for extra dry skin is a soap-free formulation with Shea Butter and vitamins E, A and B3 which are supposed to penetrate the skin and condition the skin for 24 hours. It also is advertised as rinsing clean.This is a very pleasant body wash that turns into a gentle, nourishing creamy lather on the skin. The scent is hard to describe, it is very mild and does not stay on the skin. Perhaps a very light honey and floral scent? The lather rinses clean as advertised. Afterward the skin feels fresh and moisturized--but I still need moisturizer afterwards.Complete Body Wash is a high quality, mild shower gel which I recommend for dry skin. Watch out when you squeeze the bottle--the body wash comes out very fast and only a little of this rich gel is needed.

I've been using this body wash for at least a year & I love it! I have sensitive skin and this body wash doesn't bother me at all. It also doesn't have a strong odor, which is something I always look out for when I'm purchasing any beauty product (I have allergies).I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Wonderful Product

I am very pleased with this product. Ocassionaly I would get a few dry patches and this product eliminated that. In the winter my skin tends to get dry and once again, this product reduces the dryness. So far, this is the best body wash I have ever used.

If you need something to bathe with on a daily basis that isn't drying, this is a good product and is reasonably priced.I bought it because I needed something I could use that wouldn't dry out my skin, especially during the winter.My only wish is that the wash would have been more moisturizing. I mean, if you're going to the trouble of putting vitamins in the formula, then I want my skin to feel like I've put lotion on as well. Don't get me wrong, the product didn't leave my skin dry, but I thought that since there were vitamins for extra dry skin, I wouldn't have to use lotion after my shower.So I gave the wash 4 stars because it left my skin feeling clean and not dry, but it would have gotten 5 stars if those vitamins would have kicked in and eliminated the need for lotion after the shower. (Maybe I'm asking too much of the vitamins.)

Gels are great when used with sponges and washcloths. You can easily get the gel into all the nooks and crannies of your scrubbie or sponge and then ensure it lathers well so you get both the cleaning power and the gentle exfoliation. In general this is much easier to do with a gel than with a hard soap.I'm very pleased with the Suave Naturals gel. It is almost like a jello-consistency which means when you turn the container upside down it ALL comes out! One of my key gripes with many soaps and gels that come in containers is you always waste the remnants of it. There is always residue inside which you can't get out and have to throw away (or try to get water into the container to rinse it out that way). With the Suave, there's no issue at all. Turn the container upside down, it all comes out VERY easily and you use every little last drop of it. Brilliant.I really enjoy the aroma of this as well. It is fragrant but not overpowering or sickly. I enjoy the blend of the sweet pea plus the hint of violet. I'm sure there are different people who would like more of X or more of Y, but that always comes down to personal preferences. For me the balance is just right.Highly recommended!

Slip slidin' away

Suave is value for the money. It's not watered down like some other inexpensive brands. Thick and rich, smooth and silky. I just love how my hand just glides over my skin in the shower, like I had just buttered myself all up! It's the same sensation as showering in very soft water -- only I live in an area with nothing but hard water. I feel clean and moisturized when I'm done. I've always been a fan of Suave products and this one just reaffirms my loyalty.

This body wash has a pleasant scent. The problem is that it doesn't feel nice on the skin. The body wash feels like mucus.

A Pleasant Surprise

I've used many Suave products and I always tend to think of them as generic. Almost every product I've used has surprised me and has left my wallet in a healthy state.The Sweet Pea and violet body wash is affordable, definitely. It also has a wonderful but not overpowering Sweet Pea scent apparently borrowed from Bath and Body Works. While I've always like BBWs Sweet Pea scent, all their products have been far too overpowering, which this body wash isn't luckily. However, if you want to smell more Violet, this product probably isn't for you as I can't even smell it at all.This pretty pink body wash foams easily to wash your skin. I've found it feels nice and definitely leaves my skin soft and moisturized. My skin's softer than it has been with some pricier products; even my husband has taken notice.I also have some troubles with body acne which seem to not be an issue with this product, which is a definite plus.I'm not sure why I forget that Suave makes wonderful products for a great price, but it's always a pleasant surprise to be reminded of that fact as I was with this product that I highly recommend.

This body wash has gelatin in it. Vegetarians, or vegans, may not be aware of this unless they carefully read every single ingredient on the label. Never in my life would I have thought that there could be gelatin in body wash, and I'm shocked. It also has Sodium Laureth Sulfate in it which dries out your skin.

Natural, Wonderful Scent, Moisturizing Body Wash

Love this body wash from Burt's Bees. Most importantly to me, it is paraben, pthalate, and sodium lauryl/laureth-sulfate free. It has a wonderful honey-tinged scent (there is no honey in this product), and lathers nicely. It's a bit runny, which means you have to move quickly once you get it on your hand or loofah or sponge, but a little goes a long way. I also sometimes use Tom's of Maine Natural Care Body Wash, Unscented, 11.15 fl oz (330 ml) (Pack of 4), but I really prefer the Burt's Bees because it has such a pleasant scent!

Turns your skin to silk!

This Burt's Bees body wash is fabulous! It turns dry skin to silk, smells great and leaves no residue. Use a bath scrunchie and just a little lathers you whole body. Love it!
