How do I make that rough top or edge (i don't know what it's called) on my soaps?

I'm a newbie to cold process soap-making and my soaps always end up flat. I see soaps online that have that rough top. I think they refer to it as a slab style. I have tried to look any how to's online but I didn't find any site.

To get that look you have to stir the soap longer, until it's a bit thicker before pouring.
It is setting up, getting thicker almost before you can get it poured into the mold.
This can be a bit tricky but after a few tries you will get the hang of it.
