Dr. Swearingen grew up in northern California. It went to high school in Red Bluff and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1975.

To be a dentist yet best, followed that with an optional residency program at Balboa Hospital in San Diego. After practicing family dentistry in the U.S. Navy for four years during their stay in Atsugi, Japan, the U.S. Naval AFB.

In 1980, he began his civilian career in Citrus Heights, and has been practicing ever since. Dr. Swearingen has developed a thriving dental practice founded on providing dental care of the highest quality. He has always exceeded all continuing education requirements and in recent years has taken numerous courses at the world famous Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. As a result, has been established as one of a select group of dentists in Northern California can provide cosmetic procedures prior art.

Dr. Swearingen is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. It is also an accredited member of the American Academy Cosmetic Dentistry (916) 966-1175 as well as a member of the Dental Society Sacramento District.
Dr. Swearingen lives with his wife, Robyn, in Granite Bay, California. Enjoy many activities together and are loyal Sacramento Kings fans. They especially enjoy their relationships with their children and grandchildren.
