How to repair split ends / damaged hair and prevent further damage?

I dry my hair every day. It's thin and thin. What are some good products to keep the heat blow drying damages to be so hard on my hair? And what are some of the products to repair damaged hair and make it look not so dead? Any other tips or suggestions?
