I just received this product today and I haven't got a chance to try it..but I just want to leave comment regarding the packaging. The package arrived with other ordered items..and the box was opened. When I pulled out the tube, it looked like it has been used because I found top had "squeezed mark".

Finally I get one, just one product to relax my curly and tropical hair, OMG! I had use, every product line (Complete, I mind, shampoo, serum, leave in and mask) in the market, P.M, Sebastian, Rusk, Matrix, neutrogena, the cheaper, the expensive, and the last week I receive the phyto relaxing balm, I purchased only the balm, because the prices, and I was so skeptical about the results. I do my hair my self, it is not a easy work, like any Latin American, we prefer, sleek hair, not frizz and very straight, applying one product FINALLY I get the result, than for years I was looking for.I want to say, I relax chemically every 2 months, so you can imagine how curl it is. For sure I recommend this product, and I'm going to buy more to keep in storage.Try and confirm.

I like this product but not enough to justify the cost. It does a similar job of softening and controlling frizz that other less expensive items i have purchased from the drugstore do.

I tried this first via a sample I received from my salon. I have hair that is sometimes straight, sometimes wavy, and sometimes downright frizzy depending on the day/weather. This product does a great job of smoothing out my hair and making it incredibly soft. I have even used it on my daughter who has very curly hair, with terrific results. This hairbrush gave my hair static electricity! I do however, like to massage along the outer sides of my thighs and shins; it feel very nice for that - 5 stars. Since it is marketed however as a hairbrush, I give it only 4 stars as I can not use it for the purpose it is marketed as. For a massage hairbrush, I would recommend Smartworks Battery Operated Body and Scalp Vibrating Massaging Hair Brush which gives a great scalp massage and works on my hair as well as any other brush except for those with boar bristles as those are just the best there is at distributing your natural scalp oil through your hair.

My son's room is themed 'Goodnight Moon' (childrens' book). I bought this along with a wooden comb to use as the comb and brush in the book. But I was very impressed with how well made and usable this brush was. I have to entertain my son while changing him or he flips right over and starts to crawl away so this brush was put into action as a 'watch mommy! mommy's brushing her hair!' toy, chew toy, and waving instrument. He enjoys it and I'm happy no small pieces are loose or coming off. It is very massaging to the scalp but my thick hair isn't brushed well by the widely spaced tines.

Before finding this product, I never wanted to leave the house without first using a flat iron on my hair. My stylist recommended I try this, and I am shocked at how well it works! I can blow-dry my hair and it is reasonably straight. No product can beat the flat iron, but this comes amazingly close.

Fantastic product. With only a small amount of product, was able to tame wild and woolly hair suffering from the summer frizzies. Also, doesn't result in having to wash your hair more often.

I read about this product in a magazine...which gave it raving reviews. Evidently, they are not from the south where the humidity is unbelievable and the heat is steaming because this product did absolutely nothing for my hair. You could never tell that I had product on my hair. I gave it at least 6 attempts...and what can I say...NOT! If you are going rave about a product for hair and humdity...I would suggest manufacturers to conduct their studies in the SOUTH!

I was given a half used tube of this stuff when a friend moved away, and I loved it. Yes, a little goes a really long way as another reviewer mentioned, so though it is a little pricey, it will last a long time. I have fine curly hair and this is the only product that makes my hair sleek and manageable when blow-drying or when using a flat iron. I hated straightening my hair before I used this product because it always either completely frizzed out or got a crazy wave back in some spots. Not sticky and not perfumed, this is by far my favorite hair product.

I truly love this product and bought it when I received a wet2dry flat iron. I keeps your hair shining and healthy throughout the flat ironing process. The first use had my hair healthy, shiny and bouncy. I got so many positive comments and one guy even asked me if he could touch my hair! This stuff works and I'm glad that I can get it on Amazon!
