Coconut Soap From The Hawaiian Islands

Another benefit that comes from using coconut soaps is their skin-softening effect.  When coconut oil is mixed with palm oil and turned into coconut soap, one of the byproducts produced is glycerin.  Glycerin is used in many types of soaps because it helps to replenish the moisture that is often removed from the skin when we are out in the wind or sun.  Dry and rough skin may be made more smooth and supple when these natural soaps are used regularly for bathing and washing.
