Like the type of shampoo that people use may vary from person to person, the same applies to dogs. Why? It is good to separate the skin because the oil can not be visible on the surface, especially in dogs with long hair. If neither of these problems exist, then it is safe to say that your dog has normal skin. If you are not sure, never fails to ask the vet.

- The shampoo that is chosen should be an all natural shampoo that is specific to the type of skin your dog has. If most of ingredients on the label is hard to pronounce, then it is all natural shampoo. This means that is chalk full of synthetic ingredients.

- If your dog has a problem with fleas and ticks, then a dog all natural shampoo that is designed to eliminate fleas and ticks should be your choice. However, using as a shampoo that means it is important to avoid getting it in the dog's eyes and mouth, which can be harmful.

- If your dog he scratches a lot, is a good idea to see the vet as this could be indicative of a skin condition that may need other care. Some shampoos dog can irritate the skin condition. Do not discount the issue simply as dry skin. If the dog has a skin condition, a shampoo with Aloe Vera to do that your puppy will feel better and no less. If the problem is more serious, a shampoo may be needed.

- Do not choose a shampoo that is very fragrant. Odors can irritate the skin of a dog. You know that some sort of extra ingredient must be placed in the shampoo and some dogs may not be as tolerant as others when it comes of these ingredients. That's why it's a good idea to play it safe and get a lightly scented shampoo. Your dog will also smell pleasant instead of smelling him or her to just left a salon chemicals.
