what is the best shampoo for natural african hair?

I have this thick,natural african hair and i think my shapoo is not working for me anymore. I use the pantene prov 2 in 1 (shampoo and conditioner) but after a shower, i see so many bits of my hair break off. I want something that will leave my hair smooth, soft and detangled without losing any bits of it. Some help......anyone.....hairstylists??????

Natural African hair needs a lot of moisture because the hair's natural oils tend to get trapped in the scalp and don't travel to the scalp because of the tight curl pattern. Because of this, most shampoos on the market, like Pantene, only dry and damage black hair because they contain sulfates, glycols, and parabens that only dry the hair more!

Also, consider deep conditioning your hair after every wash. Here is a simple recipe:

1/2 cup of mayo
1 egg
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Mix it together. Apply it to your hair and let it sit on it for 15-30 minutes. Your hair will stop breaking.
