Once in Pedasi will notice immediately that all the stress and concerns of the city disappears from your mind. Drive to Main Street Pedasi see colored houses with red tile roofs, surrounded by flowers. To find the villagers to relax in the hammock after a hard day's work in the field, or simply sitting on the front porch with family, friends and neighbors, talking and laughing about their day.

The town of Pedasi are relaxed. Always greet visitors with a smile and great hospitality. I think these are some of the friendliest people anywhere are.

Pedasi does not really fit with the rest of the coastal cities of Azuero. The roads are better built and all the people are nice and clean. This is probably due to city residents most famous picture, Mireya Moscoso, former president of Panama. She made some improvements to his hometown, as the park in the main square and the airstrip in Pedasi.

When you hear a loud, high sound, "heuwaaa heuwaaa, you should know that this is the traditional salute of the men on the street, nothing to fear. It is very common to see men, who could be called cowboys, riding on their land, which work in a very traditional way. With traditional sandals [Gutarra], and a hat [which has different ways of using it], machete in hand - a large knife to cut barriers populated land.

Most Cowboys have earned to keep the grass short and neat. Sometimes, moving cattle to another piece of land and sometimes you can run them across the street. There will be a cowboy the front with a red flag, leading the group of cattle and alert oncoming cars - and one in the rear to ensure that livestock are kept together. Note when driving.

You will not see women wearing traditional clothing in a typical day. The only time that women fully clothed and the traditional costumes coming out is when there is shouting. When this happens, you will have a visual feast. They carry the traditional dresses called "skirts" in beautiful colors, or just plain white - decorated with gold jewelry. Decorating the hair with accessories called "shaking" which also find to be very colorful and adorned with gold.

Another commonly be seen, not only in Pedasi, but throughout the region are milk cans outside the homes people along the road. The milk cans are collected by a truck in the early morning and returned filled with milk. So people can have fresh milk every day.

Pedasi is a small fishing village that is surrounded by rolling hills. People say it resembles the region Tuscany in Italy. In the dry season is from December to March, the mountains look like gold. There are refreshing sea breeze and you'll find clear blue skies.

The rainy season is from April to November, shows exuberance. The views around you, and many different types of green to get your attention.

Pedasi has a population of about 3640 inhabitants. I do not know if that includes all the dogs you see on loose or hanging black vulture about not having any special request for what is the menu that night! Overall Pedasi is a place to relax and enjoy the relaxed life.
