What is the most moisturizing soap? Hemp? Shea? Cocoa butter? Anything else?

What is the soap more moisturizing? Hemp? Shea? Cocoa butter? Or something else?

Hemp Soap is great because it has a lot of fatty Essential fatty I have read are able to penetrate the cell wall of the skin and repair damaged cells. However, you can view the content of hemp oil each bar. This varies considerably. Small batch, handmade soap usually has more and hemp better than soap hemp oil the big brand companies. The Body Shop has a good line of hemp shampoo and conditioner. We also have a large selection of hemp oil soap made with about 30% of hemp oil. I "m not sure shea butter or coca soap.

Miracle 2 Soap - Using Organic Green cleaning products, detoxification and Personal Care

Because of interest in the use of biodegradable products, not add chemicals to our bodies and the desire to avoid inhaling strong perfumes can also be caustic to the skin, many people are turning to go eco-friendly green products. Most of these are in concentrated form, so it's important to know how to dilute for proper use. Miracle II soap and skin products have been around for over twenty years. Because they are used in so many different contexts, give me some common ways that work well at home and for personal hygiene.

First, the Miracle II soap should be mixed with water in different proportions. What I seems to work best to get some of those 22 or 24 oz spray bottles of pharmacy or department store chain. It is also useful to get some of those bottles with little dropper.

Everyone body's pH and water hardness is different, so that the proportions of Miracle II soap and water can vary, but here are some general guidelines for common applications:

1) MIX 1 - 1 1 / 2 teaspoons regular Miracle II soap with water to fill the 24 oz spray bottle is necessary to add water slowly, because it makes a lot of foam and hard to fill the bottle otherwise. This can be used for housecleaning in general. You can also make greater use of mixtures of 2-3 teaspoons toughest jobs in a clean spray bottle different.

2) Use an old bottle of soap or pump ivory dial and put the soap in 1 part 1, part of the neutralizer and 5 parts water. This works well in the kitchen and bathroom handwashing. If you like it thicker add more soap. If thinner, add more water. You can also use in the shower like a nice body wash. Some people prefer to use moisturizing soap for this purpose, especially in winter when skin is dry.

3) For the bathroom, use lids 4 hydration or miracle ii soap and fill the tub with water. If you have the neutralizer, 3 caps of adding advised. Soak for twenty to thirty minutes. You can help the skin using a cloth to scrub your body. If the water cools, add more hot water to make you feel comfortable. This is useful for the skin to release toxins, Skin is our largest organ of elimination.

4) for laundry, you can use a few tablespoons of Miracle II soap (either regular or moisturizer) for washing clothes. If the water is hard, you can add a little baking soda. The company also has a ball of laundry that is reusable instead of 3 years and requires no soap added. If you are washing whites, add a little white vinegar for extra whitening power.

After taking a bath, use water in their toilets and bathroom sinks to keep them clean and free of grease that can clog them.

The moisturizer has no preservatives in it so it's best used in a period of six months. Recently, Dr. Adrienne Olson, a breast cancer survivor herself, sent in moisturizers sixteen to be tested in a laboratory. It turns out that six of them had ingredients similar to estrogen. Since not all ingredients must be listed in moisturizers, this makes things difficult for consumers who are trying to be health conscious.

Ask questions, read the labels and use products your trust. Treat your family, body, and home environment with products that will improve.

good all natural soap

by B. Neilly from on 2010-08-02
I'v been using this soap for a few weeks now, it moisturizes the skin pretty well, a huge difference compared to burt's bees soaps, i threw their milk and shea butter bar in the trash once i got this stuff, the burts bees bar dried my skin out really bad. I use toms of main on my face too, it doesn't make me break out any more then usual and I think my complexion has been a little better since i switched to this soap, it doesn't dry out my face, but it gets rid of the oils and my skin looks good afterwards. not a very strong scent, would like them to come out with a manly scent, cedar or citrus, but until then i will use this kind, you cant smell the soap on your skin after the shower which is fine for this scent, if you are looking for a good all natural moisturizing bar at a good price look no further, be sure to take advantage of the subscription service, saves you money and gives you free shipping.

The Toms they don't sell anymore in stores

by Eric H. Borman from on 2010-07-25
I have been using Toms Calendula soap for 25 years and do not desire to use another type of Toms soap. When I saw this on line I decided to buy enough to last me a long time. I feel this is what happens when a company sells out to a GREAT BIG Company and they decided to not sell a good product anymore.

Right soap for skin condition.

I have very sensitive skin and have difficulty finding the right body soap. I read about Tom's soap and tried it. It is the perfect soap for my skin condition. My body feels clean and soft without any reaction of rash or itch.

The smell of this soap will overpower your bathroom

by J. Kim from New York on 2010-09-03
Although it has great lather, the smell of the soap will overpower the bathroom. The smell is not anything unusual, rather typical soap smell but it is SO STRONG. You can smell it on person hours after using it. Even you like the scent, it is too strong. I recommend the unscented ones.

only soap I buy for my whole family

by Gregory Topor from Schaumburg, IL on 2010-08-08
I've been using this soap since 2007 ( 3 years as of now). It moisturizes my skin without leaving "greasy" feeling on it. Especially in the winter time with sub zero temperatures outside and heat working constantly i had a huge problem with dry/itchy skin, it has completely stopped once i stared using this soap. I would definitely recommend it to anyone to give it a try and I'm sure anyone would love it, forget all those brands You found in Your local walgreens, this is it. ~$20 for 12 pieces that last much longer than others, it's heck of a deal. Regards

Smells so good!

by Judy Long from Alabama on 2010-07-06
I have fallen in love with this soap. It smells great and is perfect for any skin type.

Good Stuff

by EG from Blacksburg, VA on 2010-05-21
1. Moisturizes - We all get dry skin in the winter but my husband, being a man, refuses to use lotion on his itchy dry skin. Well this winter was brutal with the heat on constantly, and my husband didn't have dry skin using this soap. Impressive.2. Smell - Since there's been so much conversation about the scent: This is not a lightly-scented soap; it has a distinct smell. I really love the smell for my husband but it's not so manly or strong that I can't use it.3. Cleans - Yep, this is a soap, not a wimpy body wash. Gets the job done.

Milk Soaps

by Dr. Cynthia Trosin from New Baltimore MI on 2010-05-18
This milk soap is very nicely milled and lasts a long time. The smell is fresh and this product isn't so tough on my skin as most soaps are. The price seems quite fair in comparison to some other triple-milled soaps I've purchased.

Excellent!

by John B. Goode from Earth on 2010-04-29
This is great soap. As a guy I was used to using regular soap, but it was just too drying. So I switched to this. As a result, my skin is not as dry after I shower. Another thing is that it's cheap. Buy a 14 pack and that can last you a year, buy some other stuff to get over $25 and you get free shipping too, saves going to the store and saves gas. What a deal!

Awesome Scent,Excellent Hydrating and Moisturizing Soap

by GiftsnThingsOnline from on 2010-03-15
I've been using dove products for a very long time now.I absolutely love the Dove Cool Moisture Beauty Bar.Why? Because it lathers really well and left my skin feeling cool, soft, refreshed and moisturized.I was drawn to this product because I love the cucumber/green tea scent. I found that the green tea scent enhanced the cucumber and gave it a more of a herbal effect. The weight of the bar is 4.25 OZ/120 g (which lasts for a very long time). If you have dry skin this is an excellent beauty bar to use...I recommend 100% !!!

Too expensive

by Praiser from on 2010-01-31
I think you can get this soap less expensive at Walmart. This was too much money. I priced it at Walmart and I would have come out much cheaper.

Good but overpriced on Amazon

by MH in PA from PA USA on 2009-09-13
Good soaps. Overpriced on Amazon. Locally these sell for $0.92 per bar in a 6 pack. This 14 pack is priced at $1.26 each bar. Same 4.25 oz bars. Don't pay 37% more than you have to.

great soap - great scent

by SovereignJack from Redondo Beach, CA on 2009-09-02
I have always used Dove hypoallergenic scent free soap, ever since a dermatologist recommended it to me as a teen. So I'm not into heavily scented soaps, but I decided to give this one a try. And I have to say the scent is just right, not too strong. I'm surprised someone would use the term pungent to describe the scent. It gives me a very fresh, clean feeling, with no lingering scents once I'm rinsed off. If I smell my skin afterwards, it just smells clean and natural. And it lathers up real nice. I keep my head cropped pretty short, and it lathers so good that I use this on my stubble as a shampoo. Pretty much the only thing I use in the shower. Makes a great lather for shaving as well, haven't bought shaving cream in years. Only downside is, you'll go through these bars real fast as they tend to dissolve quickly.

Description

Goat milk’s unique protein structure, along with its capric and caprilyic acids, allow the milk’s rich emollients to be absorbed without stripping away your skin’s natural protective oils. That’s why your skin will feel not only clean, but soft and supple every time you use Canus soap. Like all of our soaps, our original fragrance bars have a pure vegetable base, are dermatologist tested and they’re phosphate-free and biodegradable. The goats were also very particular about the fragrance. Canus soap is for the whole family, so they spent a lot of time fine tuning a scent that’s not too strong or feminine. Fresh, light and grassy, everyone will love it.

Features

  • Case of 12 1.5-ounce fragrance-free bars (18 total ounces)
  • Made with naturally homogenized farm fresh goat milk (not powdered)
  • Triple-milled soap is created to be hard and long lasting
  • Fragrance free for sensitive skin
  • Manufactured in Canada from goats milk processed north of Montreal

love it!

by teacher-mom from Rhode Island on 2010-08-20
I love goat's milk soap! My skin dries out with any other soap or body wash. I've noticed a remarkable difference in my skin since I started using this soap. I use it on my face and notice that my skin tone is more even; I don't need to cover my face with makeup. Also, it is long lasting and economical. Love it!

Best facial soap in the world!!

by C. Kennon from on 2010-06-01
I'm C's wife. I found this soap originally in Canada, I believe, and was so happy to be able to find it on Amazon!! I have sensitive skin generally and I don't like anything that might potentially clog my pores either. I'm really fussy what goes on my face day or night. I'm told often that I have very nice skin (face) though I'm 53. I think I can thank this soap for it. Been using it nonstop for over 15 years now. Won't use anything else if I can help it!

Good Soap for Acne Prone Skin

by G. Shinkle from Ohio on 2009-06-15
I really like this soap. I have acne prone skin and got tired of using harsh topicals like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and those horrible face washes by clean and clear, neutragena..etc.I remembered reading somewhere that goat's milk is supposedly good for this type of skin, so I drove 30 minutes to the next town just to buy some of this stuff. Here's what happened:I immediately dropped EVERYTHING I was putting on my skin that was mostly natural. I started washing with this stuff every morning and night and nothing else. This stuff is LUXURIOUS on your face. It's smooth, creamy and despite what some people say, I like the faint smell. After a few days, I noticed my skin started to break out into small, semi-flat bumps that disappeared a day or two after they appeared, but it came in waves. A friend of mine reminded me of the "purging period" in which skin detoxifies itself, especially after using so many harsh chemicals. The goat's milk soap was the likely culprit of this because it helps to sort of even out skin pH levels and the milk acts somewhat like a mild alpha hydroxy acid, removing dead skin and pulling out the impurities.I endured this for 2 weeks and literally, I woke up clear one day and never looked back. My skin settled down and now it's incredibly soft after continuing to use this soap regularly. I read in another review that this stuff isn't for really really sensitive skin. To each his own, because my skin, too, is really really sensitive. Everything irritates it and this does not.I also like that this product contains no fragrance or scented oils like a lot of other goat's milk soap products like Alabu. Those tend to break me out and this is the only brand I can find without those. This stuff has literally reminded me what it's like to have self-esteem and to be able to walk into the sun without make-up. It's definitely worth a try.

Not Very Happy

by M. Jones from on 2008-11-27
I won't purchase this again. I have very very sensitive skin and this is not for skin like mine. I believe it has made my skin worse that it has been in awhile. If you have normal skin or just slight sensitive skin it would probably be fine.

A good product

by Nora Maserang from Fort Worth, TX USA on 2008-08-19
I'm intolerant, bordering on allergic, to coconut oil and cocoa butter. The former ingredient is in almost every soap on the market because it's cheap. At one point I was using Cetaphil cleanser in the bath because it was the only thing I could take. Then I found this goat's-milk soap online, and the ingredients looked promising. This soap still does leave me feeling a touch itchy after bathing (which is why I give it four stars instead of five), but it's nowhere near the suffering I'd have to bear after using ordinary soap. And it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry.

Yardley's is great

by amsboethius1 from on 2010-07-06
This soap is great! It's long lasting and wonderfully aromatic. For those worried about price, I buy it at my local Dollar Tree stores for $1 a bar. However, even at Amazon's price it is a wonderful value.

Excellent quality soap!

by Miss Margaret Picky from NYC on 2010-01-27
Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there. Not only is this a good quality soap, it is readily available and is much less expensive than soap of similar quality imported from Europe. The English Rose and and especially the Lemon Verbena scents are also quite nice but the lavender remains my favorite. If you have stuck with Ivory and have never used a French milled soap, give this a try. Highly recommended.

Yardley by the yard

by David S. Roberts from Philadelphia, PA USA on 2010-01-24
This is beautiful soap. Its aroma is delicious, making it a pleasure to walk by the closet where it is stored. However, I ordered 10, thinking I would receive 10 bars. I was shocked to discover that I had received 10 packets of four-- 40 bars of soap. That explained its apparently high price. Amazon should make this clear but it has been a pleasure giving the surplus to friends.

Great value

Great product; don't hesitate

by Paw Print from Massachusetts, USA on 2010-08-19
Needed to get rid of the ugly bar soap in both the bathroom and kitchen. Figured I'd give this a try as it is suppose to be a moisturizing hand soap. I love the size of the bottle, the pump is large enough so even a man can use it easily vs. those skinny, narrow pumps on many other products.I'm not sure about the moisturizing part because my hands are always dry and the skin on my hands always feels tight but in all honesty, my hands are in water all the time. With 6 dogs, cooking, cleaning, and gardening I am always washing my hands so I don't know if the soap is helping or not.I got the 2-pack: one Aloe Vera (kitchen) and Milk/Honey (bathroom). My original idea was to use all the bath gels and bath lotions I've gotten over the years as gifts as refills when these are close to empty but I like the Milk/Honey scent so well that I've decided to get Soft Soap refill in that scent and find another use for all those 'gels and lotions' sitting collecting dust. The Aloe Vera scent is almost non existent so if you prefer a scent you can actually detect, go with the Milk/Honey choice.A little of this soap goes a long way. It is a thick, rich, creamy soap out of the dispenser that lathers quickly and easily and, a big plus for me, rinses easily and quickly. Don't know why I waited so long to do this but now that I've found it, I'm never lettin' go!!!!

Our family won't use anything else!

by Kalina T. from Hawaii on 2010-01-21
We love this soap! It makes you feel clean and doesn't leave any residue on you or the tub! I don't have to scrub the shower much anymore. I use it for bath, face, laundry, dishes, floors, etc. etc. I dilute it in a spray bottle and use it to kill insects (ants, roaches, mosquitos, spiders, etc.). My mom tried it and loves it, told my aunt about it...now about 6 households of relatives are using it. Yes, the price is high, but it's highly concentrated. You might try looking for a local distributor to save on shipping.

I'd buy it again

by notAyesperson from on 2008-03-28
Very good sudsing action going on. Does not cause skin to become dry and itchy like most soaps. Never a nasty scum tub ring. The only thing I don't like about it is the price.update: I would not buy again. It is too weak. I finished a bottle of this, and did not feel clean after all that usage. I was still sweaty with body odors. Dr. Bronner's soap works better than this.

Miracle II products are the greatest!

by Moonbeam from on 2008-02-08
I'm really sold on Miracle II products. I usually buy it by the gallon. The moisturizing soap is good for dry skin and it leaves your skin pretty silky. You don't have that film on your skin like most soaps. You know that you are clean. Your skin just breathes. It's completely non-toxic. Great for skin and hair. So wonderful in a bubble bath, If you take a nice long soak, and let the water stand after getting out, you'll see that it has pulled stuff from your pores and it settles in your bathwater. How many times have you seen that with your normal bath soap? You can't do wrong with Miracle II products. Great for your whole family and great for the environment.

Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar

by D. Murrells from Murrells Inlet, SC USA on 2010-07-08
This bar soap is the only kind I can use to help avoid contact dermatitis. It is gentle on your skin and and because your skin is less aggravated by harsh or regular soaps you will have less reactions and rashes from coming in contact with allergens. It was recommended by my dermatologist. I do NOT use the antibacterial formulation because constant use of antibacterial soaps also kill the good bacteria on your skin an can lead to problems. This formulation is the best for daily use. I buy it in the six-pack to save money as it is more expensive than regular soap, but so much more worth it for its benefits.

Cetaphil is great for softer skin.

Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar, 4.5-Ounce Bar (Pack of 6) This product works very well on dry, scaling skin. It was recommended by a doctor and has been a great product. The dryness and scaling are going away so we will continue to use this product.

Not good for my skin

by J & A from on 2010-04-21
When I saw that Cetaphil had a scented bar soap, I was excited about it. I had very good experience with their moisturizing cream, and I thought the soap was going to be similar. I was disappointed to find out that it had the same effect on my skin as a Dove scented soap. So, why pay 4 dollars a bar when you can get scented Dove? In any case, I'm back to unscented Dove. By the way, I had to point out that I didn't find the scent at all offensive, like some other poster suggested. Not a great smell, but not offensive.Pros: None for me.Cons: Too expensive compared to competition (4 dollars a bar, instead of 1 dollar for Dove); harsh on my skin (like other non-scented soaps); not a bad scent, but not a great one either.Bottom line: Buy one at your local supermarket first, instead of a 6 pack from Amazon. If you like it, indulge yourself with 4 dollar bars of soap.

I use this to for my face. It cleans well yet is not drying at all. I thought the price is a bit expensive but one bar does last a long time. Highly recommend.
