Great moisturizer! It feels very light, gets absorbed quickly, very nice fragrance. Environmental Working Group gives it a moderate hazard rating. Great price for an organic cream, the company that makes it (Hain Celestial Group) has full member status in the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. I started looking into all the chemicals that get into cosmetics and I hope more women will! We should buy products based on ingredients, not advertisement! This is a great product, I've been using it for weeks now, it's great in the summer, it's so light and no irritations or breakouts.

I have sensitive skin that either breaks out or dries out. I needed a moisturizer for my face and neck. So I decided to try the Avalon Organics Lavender skin care line. This is a wonderful product. It moisturizes and fine lines disappear. It is gentle on your skin, so it is perfect for people with sensitive skin. I have really noticed a difference using this product. I ended up buying the whole lavender line from Avalon since I needed to go more organic after an allergic attack. I am not disappointed. I like everything and this ultimate moisturizer is no acception. I only use it at night, since it is a bit greasy. You only need a little bit and it will make your skin look more clean and soft the next day. (at least that's what happend to me)The price is not bad either, believe me I have used ridiculously expensive brand names which weren't that great. And is it not interesting that all those big products name tend to add more natural ingredients to their cosmetics? So I am thinking why not go straight to the source? My face has brightend up, my fine lines are hardly noticable,it is not making my face break out, my face feels soft and I am getting a lot of compliments for a 41 year old woman. The Lavender smell is just soothing.

After having enjoyed the bodylotion of this Lavender line, I decided to try the moisturizer. I did not regret it. At the age of 40 my face became more dry and I started suffering from hyperpigmentation and fine lines. Not anymore, a week after using this moisturizer I noticed the difference. My face has brightend, my fine lines have disappeared and the moisturizing is making my skin more soft and youthfull. I can't live without it! This product is the best thing I've accidentally come across EVER! With stretch marks a little bit of research goes a long way; however we can't escape the fact that these wonderful marks are basically hereditary. If your mother had them chances are you will too. For this reason, prevention attempts seem rather futile, but women like to hold out hope. During my first pregnancy I tried the cocoa butter thing, taking vitamin E pills and even dabbing vitamin E oil on my tummy. None of it worked. My stretch marks were horrible. Over the years I considered Mederma, but figured it would turn out to be a waste and gave up. Losing weight helped the appearance some. The red centers faded, and the smaller lines became nothing more than light colored ripples. Still, I was never totally thrilled with the way the bigger ones looked. When I got pregnant a second time, I was so happy I barely considered what a growing fetus would do to my tummy. That changed during the middle of my sixth month. My mother, ever tactful, warned that if I didn't put some sort of lotion on my growing belly my stretch marks would get stretch marks. I wanted to rebel in the worst way, but reality is inescapable. In a semi depressed state I turned to my friend amazon.com and found Mambino oh baby! belly butter. This organic product aids in the rebound and anti-stretch of skin. I'm not an organic nut, but it was a total selling point for me. I found the idea of putting something natural on my stomach more appealing then the latter. I've been using Belly Butter for almost three weeks now and the effects are A M A Z I N G! All, I repeat ALL, of my stretch marks are fading. New, old, red, white. Every single one of them is at least four times lighter than they were at the beginning of the pregnancy. Women get stretch marks for more reasons than just having baby, so pregnant or not you should give this product a try. It costs about thirty and change, but it's so unbelievably worth it that even I (poor as poor can be) didn't bat an eye while ordering my second jar. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Really nice smell and texture; wish I could use more often

I purchased this product and Burt's Bees Mama Bee body balm and the Mama Bee body oil. I was two months when I started applying them alternately after showers. After a while rash began to appear on my belly. My doctor told me it's kind of normal and not to worry. The rash may not be related to the products, but I found that using more of my old body lotion and sometimes the Mambino belly butter or Burt's Bees body oil makes my rash appear less.I love the texture and the smell of Mambino's belly butter. The butter is like solidified cream and is easier to scoop with a finger -- much easier than a balm -- and it quickly melts in my palm and on my belly. It is not as greasy as a balm, either. Its lemony mango smell always puts me in a good mood. Now I use this butter or Burt's Bees body oil whenever I need a quick aroma therapy. As far as stretch mark goes, I was told that it was in your genes and had not much to do with what you put on your belly (I don't have any yet but fingers crossed), but I would love to think that by putting on something nurishing I was doing my job :) I definitely would love to use this product more often if not bothered by pregnancy rash.

I've tried several body butters and creams and this is just the best one as far as "feel" and "smell". The fact that it is all natural and organic reassures me further that its a great product. I just ordered the toning oil and a lip balm so i'm excited to try them. This item ships right away.... it is a little pricey but worth it! My favorite winter moisturizer

I have been using this moisturizer for about two years now and I really love it. I lived in the Rockies where it is very arid so I needed something very moisturizing for every day. It absorbs quickly but hydrates for hours and hours. I love the lavender because it is very calming for the skin (as well as the mind). I used to work in a health foods store and I would recommend this product to a lot of customers who said they needed something really hydrating and balancing. Now that I live in in the Northeast I only need it in the winter and as a night cream.

Keep in mind that my review is not scientific. I have been comparing this Avalon Organics Daily Moisturizer Lavender Renewal & Vitality for sensitive skin to Loreal Advanced RevitaLift Complete & Revita Night. The difference is night and day for me. With Avalon, my skin feels as though it's too alive, with a slight burning sensation, leaving me with a reaction of some sort. My eyes feel burnt out (not literally) and it doesn't go away unless I completely wash it all off. When I apply Loreal, nothing bad happens, which is a good thing. After using Loreal for several weeks, my reddish areas have almost gone. I'm not surprised that Avalon products aren't taking as much space on store shelves as before.

I love the Avalon organic line of products, particularly this ultra-moisturizing cream. I have very sensitive skin which responds well to the healing properties of lavender. Because I insist on organic and paraben-free products, this lavender cream is the best for my money and is my all-time favorite moisturizer for both night and day use. I use it several times a day actually, especially during the winter when my skin tends to dry out in the forced air heat environment of my home.The ultra-moisturizer is becoming increasingly harder for me to find and the price has shot up as well but still I highly recommend this and the other Avalon organic lavender products. My second choice is the Avalon CoQ10 products which my 75 year-old mother swears by for her beautiful flawless skin that doesn't look a day over 50.

I echo the glowing reviews that appear on this site. Over the years, I have spent untold dollars on specialty creams and potions with varying results; however, none have surpassed the results I've experienced with regular use(twice daily, for almost six months )of the Organic Argan Oil. Fine lines have disappeared around my eyes and mouth; my skin is more supple and soft without that "over-moisturized" feeling that some of the heavier creams can produce. For those who are sensitive to perfumes, there is no discernible fragrance to this product. The oil is quickly absorbed by the skin, leaving no shine. Make-up can be easily and evenly applied right after using the oil. I have been so impressed with the results that I have started to use the oil on my nails (it quickly conditions nails which have been dried out or damaged by polishes) and on my hair (I color my hair, so dryness has been a concern -- a few drops of argan oil lightly worked through the hair keeps it in shiny condition -- it also tames the "frizzies".) In fact, this oil is a true bargain when you consider the number of other beauty products you can do without. I gave a bottle of argan oil to my good friend who had been complaining about dry skin despite trying different moisturizers. Now she's a great fan, as well. This is a miracle product for eczema and other skin irritations. This oil stops the itch and irritation on contact. I've used about 20 different products for eczema (some given only by prescription), but none are as effective as this.However, one should beware of the other Argan oils sold on this site. I purchased another brand and it seemed to be a watered down version of this Organic Aragan Oil and didn't work at all.

Fabulous oil

I have been using this product for approximately 4 months. At bedtime I mix it with several drops of Hyaluronic Acid serum from Swanson Vitamins and apply it to my face, lips and neck. The serum helps make the oil easier to smooth over my face and neck. I also use it on my hands, nails, hair and scalp. Am seeing great results. My skin seems to glow from within, eye area is smooth and less puffy then when I use eye gels/creams, nails are not as dry and brittle and I have also noticed that my make-up last all day with minimal meltdown (less touch-ups) even in the heat of Miami! The bottle contains 30 ml or a little over 1 fl oz and dispenses the oil by pump so there is zero waste of precious oil. Love this oil, and plan to continue using it as long as it is available.

I've been using the Vitamin C Vitality Serum for about a month now and I think it's working pretty well. I think my skin tone is more even and some slight discoloration I had from light scarring seems to even be clearing up. I would recommend this product.

Nicely priced; brightens skin

Avalon Vitality Serum with Vitamin C is a nicely-priced product that helps brighten the skin. Its texture is such that it also has acted as a nice primer for my make-up. It is definitely not oily, and I wouldn't say it moisturizes, but it does treat discolorations and brighten skin. I have mixed it with a light moisturizer, and it goes on well without the pilling action. I would recommend this as a great alternative to high-priced products, with much the same result.

I use Avalon Organics extensively, and the toner is one of my favorites. The smell is soft and refreshing. I pour this out into a little spray bottle and use it all over my face. Have used these products a long time and I very highly recommend all Avalon Organics, including this toner. It is also very reasonably priced compared to any other comparable brands.

Love this face wash!

I happen to have skin that is both oily and dry, prone to blemishes and yet I'm in my 60s..So all products made for aging skin gave me break outs...Not pimples as much as irritating sores. I've tried many many natural facial products and this is the first facial cleanser that is soothing and non irritating. I happen to love the smell. I read one reviewer object to the odor, but it's light...earthy and I'm happy it doesn't contain added fragrance. I'm perfectly happy with my new facial cleanser and have started using Pangea's scrub, toner and mask. All are very good products for my skin.
