The word 'granite' comes from the Latin word 'Granum' which means grain. Granite contains three main minerals-quartz, mica and feldspar. It represents the texture of rocks.

Nowadays more and more people are seeking granite tiles for building materials which is used widely in homes, industries and commercial buildings. Granite varies in colour and density which gives it a different surface appearance compared to other rocks.

There is a variety of granite tiles available usually in darker colours but now shades of pink and grey are also available. Different forms of these tiles include the black granite, which is generally used for floors and to create a contrast in walls and floors.

The blue pearl granite has a silver shine to it in order to give it a classy and an elegant look. Also the crystal white granite is widely used as tiles as it is universally available as well as cheap in cost, but for large areas and neutral colours one can go for golden garnet granite.

For complimenting a variety of materials, warm toned tropical granite tiles should be used which blend well with metal, ceramic and wood. Lastly if someone wants there floors or walls to stand out he or she can go for Uba Tuba granite tiles.

Granite tiles are very durable and easy to clean and maintain as they are resistant to oil, grease and stains, also too alcohol, acids and chemicals. Therefore wiping them with warm water helps in maintaining these tiles easily and if someone wish to maintain their shine can clean them with stone soap once a week.

Today, granite tiles are available online in many different websites where one can choose and negotiate between their favourite texture and colour of tiles and can, therefore, save themselves from the hustle and bustle of stores.

Well you have a molecule with a polar head and a long non-polar tail. What happens is the polar ends get attracted to the water and the non-polar ends are attracted to insoluble inorganics. This allows small molecular sacks called miscelles to form and allows for the emulsification that soap performs to occur. Google miscelle to get a clearer picture.
