Saponification - How to make soap

What is saponification? It is a scientific term often used when making homemade soap. Saponification is a chemical reaction occurring between the oil and lye. What is important? Each oil of soap making has certain values, saponification and skin care properties that contribute to more than soap. These oils help form many home care products the skin such as soaps, lotions, creams, foot scrubs, shampoos, face creams, lip balms, and more! Saponification understanding, values and how the ingredients work together to help you choose the right ingredients for your homemade skin care. What should you consider?

Soap making oils contain different ingredients acid, myristic, palmitic, stearic linoleic, oleic and ricinoleic. lauric Each of these ingredients found in soap making oils in different proportions. When one considers values of the percentage of each ingredient to help you make the soap right of making their choice of homemade products for skin care. For example, Myristic, palmitic and stearic acids lauric help provide a hard bar of soap. Most people prefer a hard bar of soap instead of something soft and heavy. If you want soap that provides a nice fluffy lather then you might consider using an oil that contains soap making, myristic, or lauric acid ricinoleic. If you prefer to have soap lather not totally, but there was one, moderate then foam palmitic acid, stearic acid or ricinoleic acid stable would be a good option. If you are making soap, lotions or other skin care home with added conditioning properties acids linoleic and oleic then it would be beneficial.

When handling bleach make sure you are using the security of suitable coatings. Lye can cause painful burns on contact extremely skin itself. If spending a spill of bleach, clean the entire area with white vinegar to neutralize their effects.
