Clay has been known as a therapeutic agent for thousands of years. Before going to discuss the wonderful benefits of the clay to the skin when used in soaps and cosmetics, let's take a look at the fascinating facts about clay and its uses.

Did you know that there are edible clay? Since the clay is rich in minerals, eat, increases the level of minerals in the body, causing toxins to be more soluble and easier to remove the body. Another use of the clay is the "clay bath. It is interesting that amid all the technology we have developed in the last century still turn to Mother Earth for health cures. Below are several types of clay, most commonly used in soap and cosmetics-making:

French Green Clay

French green clay quarries originates in France. When used in the manufacture soap, it is added as a natural colorant. French green clay has very high levels of absorbance. Its molecular structure allows it to absorb the oil, dirt and toxins skin. It balances oily skin to normal pH levels. Can be used daily in local spots and acne on face masks. Oily hair can benefit from using of this clay when added to hair products.

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite clay sediments derived from volcanic ash in the States USA. It is known as a soft mud and moisturizer. When a clay facial mask is applied to the skin, draws and absorbs the oil, leaving skin pure and strengthened. Also is used as a mineral supplement when taken orally (to eat).

White Kaolin Clay

White Kaolin clay is the most soft and fine. When added to facial masks, which functions as exfoliate and helps promote blood circulation. Because it is lightweight and absorbent, which is added to many products cosmetics such as face masks, deodorants, powders, soaps and more.

Clay Rhassul

Rhassul clay originally from Morocco. Since that is very rich in minerals, is added in spas worldwide. This type of clay is known to soften, relax and rejuvenate the skin.

Fuller's Earth Clay

Because of its natural properties are the development of skin oil, Fuller's Earth Clay work better as a cleanser for oily skin and acne. Another feature of this clay is its ability to lower the tone of the skin and lighten it. Can be found in facial products that help deliver an even skin tone.

Rose and Red Clay

Both stood up and added to red clay facial masks and soaps. They are very good, like salt scrubs for face and body.

Abstract

Clay is a natural resource available, which is extracted or collected from the land and the benefits we marvel when added to soap and cosmetics. It is rich in minerals, it absorbs the oil from the skin and revives and purifies the skin. Clay can also be used in soap as a natural colorant.

The clay is very easy to incorporate into the soap making process and can be used in common soap-making techniques (Melt & pour and the process cold). During the merger process and shed should be added after the glycerin base is melted. It adds a bit of melted glycerin soap base, mix and then the mixture added to the soap mass. During the cooling process should be added before pouring the soap into the mold. Doing this ensures that the clay does not sink to the bottom of the telenovela.

Clay is a great choice for a peel to add the soap. Some clays have properties that take oil Skin and normalize the level. Some "drink" the oil soak and remove it. Other types of clay with the help of normal, dry and sensitive skin. Clay cleanses the skin, stimulates blood circulation and tones the skin.

Clay is a cheap and versatile substance which can contribute greatly to our wellbeing when added to personal hygiene products.
