why use sulfate free shampoo

Why do I have split ends?

Someone can explain this to me? I have Afro hair texture and temples, I split ends. The hairs are very short and do nothing for them. Therefore, I do not understand why are reserving the open ends. All I do is put coconut oil in them and use sulfate free shampoos. Help!

Do not straighten? If using a hair dryer, maybe you are putting in close to you is the hair and that is what is causing the end game or you could be playing with you too much hair =) Xx
